Pros & Cons
You actually get to grasp (gasp!) a Guinness World Record holder for the farthest throw when you play with the Aerobie Pro Flying Ring. Dressed in soft rubber, the award winning ring aids comfortable catches and terrific throws. The Aerobie flies fast and far, so even a football field may not give enough clearance...you really need a huge empty space to play this with ease. The trick to getting a perfect curve or a straight flying line, lies in the flick of the wrist - which comes with some practice. This sturdy traveler does make you run after it, so forget the treadmill during summers and get yourself the Aerobie for a good workout. It just needs minimal force to go soaring in the sky, and if you release all your pent up energy in the throw, beware; you might just lose sight of it!
This circular flyer is not a flotation device; when it touches water it sinks like a stone. Another surefire way to misplace it! The ring also acts up during windy conditions and it might not be the best time to throw it around. Though the exterior is soft and rubbery, the core is hard, and might be dangerous if not used wisely, especially with little kids.
Overall, the Aerobie Pro Flying Ring is a fun plaything for the entire family. Even youngsters (and their dogs!), can easily play catch with it thanks to its shape and design. This wins it more brownie points when you compare it to a flat plastic Frisbee!
