Review Summary

This is the summary of consumer reviews for VIVO Height Adjustable Standing Desk Sit to Stand Gas Spring Riser Converter | 36" Tabletop Workstation fits Dual Monitor (DESK-V000B). The BoolPool rating for this product is Excellent, with 4.50 stars, and the price range is $133.00-$185.00.

Customers were impressed with the frame and the air compressed adjustable height mechanism. The frame is made of high quality making the VIVO Height-Adjustable Standing Desk sturdy and reliable. The air compression mechanism locks the desk at any height the user needs. There is no pre-set height to work around. The lever may seem to stick at first, but after continuous use, adjusting the height will feel easier and intuitive. With a secondary shelf for the mouse and keyboard, this VIVO model will feel more spacious and organized.

While many appreciated the high-quality frame, they also noted the shelves appeared to be made out of corkboard which was a turn off to some. Others noted there were not enough cable ties to organize all the cords of their computer, keyboard, phone, etc, so some strategic organization was essential. Most of all, shorter customers complained the VIVO Height-Adjustable Standing Desk was too tall when sitting. The secondary shelf is not adjustable, so when lowered all the way, the monitors and keyboards sit higher than most are accustomed.

Because of the second shelf, the VIVO Height-Adjustable Standing Desk may be best fit for those with the intent of standing longer than they are sitting. Otherwise, the high-quality frame and consolidated space make this sit-to-stand workstation a solid purchase.

Criticism: The slight difficulty in pushing it back down (can be adjusted to your liking), little space for writing, and their tiny supply of cable management stuff.

The lift cylinders work well, and I can lift it to the max height with little effort.

Lastly, the keyboard tray raises the keyboard a couple of inches which also results in the keyboard being too high for proper ergonomic use.
