PlayStation 4 is the best place to play with dynamic, connected gaming, powerful graphics and speed, intelligent personalization, deeply integrated social capabilities, and innovative second-screen features. It is noticeably faster, and has better graphics than its predecessor. Combining unparalleled content, immersive gaming experiences, all of your favorite digital entertainment apps, and PlayStation exclusives, PS4 centers on gamers, enabling them to play when, where and how they want. DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller features new innovations to deliver a phenomenal gaming experiences, including a highly sensitive six-axis sensor as well as a touch pad located on the top of the controller, which offers gamers completely new ways to play and interact with games.

However, Playstation 4 is not backward compatible with older games. Also, it lacks the music playing capabilities since it cannot play audio CDs like PS3.

Overall, the PlayStation 4 Console has superb graphics, lightning fast interface and if you get PlayStation 4 plus, you can do online gaming as well. The games available are pretty amazing, they have some great indie games and all games are in full 1080p. Not to mention there's the live stream function available, to watch other people play the game as you wait for your downloads to finish.

Works like a charm. Works pretty much faster than its predecesor. But for a launch period it's pretty good. Need some tweaks in OS, to give more options. Great cosole all around. Summary Will be buying. Stop hesitating and just buy it. Pros Best out there . Cons Needs to go to a solid state drive. Xbox one doesn't offer free game that sucks why????. Just have to wait :( . Summary The better system its faster, cheaper, prettier and overall better value with indie and free games!!! Game installs take less than 5 seconds, the Playstation Store works incredibly well, and the interface is lightning fast. Playstation Plus is also a great feature ($50/year) that gives you the capability of online gaming along with free games (select titles of course). I never used my PS3 for online gaming so I don't know how it's improved but the PS4 online gaming definitely works better than my Xbox 360. Simply put - the games look amazing. Amazing new controller Great design exterior and Interface . Cons Nota lot of multimedia support yet. Great launch titles great indie games. Love the graphic power, cant wait to see next year games. Best console for next 8 years. I've been gaming a long time and bought many consoles at launch over the years. The games look astounding and there's a comparable difference from last gen consoles. A console that's focused for New Gen gaming and for the long time gamers and newbies. I love this console! I'm super happy with this new console and the games I've available. From the games to the social aspects of the console, everything is seamless and smooth. We finally have a console that's all about games again. While playing any game the PS4 is constantly recording your game play. The system is fast, snappy, and has everything someone looking to play next generation video games. Every game must be installed before playing the game. If you do play another game the game will start over. Dualshock 4 Controller . Cons Online gaming requires PS+. -Not much of a graphical improvement from . PS3, but methods of playing the games have been greatly improved (E.G. Controllers and motion control, plus a lot more) . Summary Too bad people who don't have this awesome system ar. Even if you don't have a game on hand when you get your system, once you've connected your system to your home network (either through wi-fi or wired) you can check out the PlayStation Store and find free game downloads to play, or purchase a game and download it to your systems internal storage. I recommend while the game is installing take advantage of the live stream function and watch other people play the game. It happens in four different games I've played. »Hide Details
