However, Playstation 4 is not backward compatible with older games. Also, it lacks the music playing capabilities since it cannot play audio CDs like PS3. 

Overall, the PlayStation 4 Console has superb graphics, lightning fast interface and if you get PlayStation 4 plus, you can do online gaming as well. The games available are pretty amazing, they have some great indie games and all games are in full 1080p. Not to mention there's the live stream function available, to watch other people play the game as you wait for your downloads to finish.
