Review Summary

This is the summary of consumer reviews for iHealth Wireless Smart Blood Sugar Test Kit for Apple and Android. The BoolPool rating for this product is Fair, with 3.00 stars, and the price range is $16.95-$28.69.

Of all the smart blood sugar test kits, the iHealth Wireless Smart Blood Sugar Test Kit for Apple and Android had the most mixed reviews. Happy customers commented on face value features of iHealth's Blood Sugar Test Kit. The device is small and portable, making it a breeze to test your blood sugar whenever and wherever. The app was intuitive meaning results were easy to read. The most interesting feature reviewers greatly appreciated was the data from iHealth's Smart Blood Sugar Test Kit was easily transferable to other types of apps. One reviewer consolidated their health data onto Apple's health app, and they were able to sync iHealth's blood sugar results onto Apple's health app. Other aspects of this test kit also seemed super convenient to the customer, like the test strips. To reviewers, the test strips were very inexpensive which can be a blessing since those who need to test their blood sugar will likely need to for the rest of their lives.

Cheap test strips are also appreciated due to the large number that you will burn through with iHealth's blood sugar test kit. After the first impressions, reviewers did not seem very pleased with iHealth's product. The blood sugar reader apparently had a hard time reading the test strips. According to many reviewers, when using a fresh strip, their test results would display an error message that indicated the strip was expired. Numerous retries displayed the same message. Numerous test results also yielded a wide range of results. Reviews seemed consistent that their test results ranged from 20 to 30 points. Finally, some reviewers had troubles connecting the reader to their phone's Bluetooth which essentially made the app meaningless. With all these headaches in mind, the iHealth Smart Blood Sugar Test Kit should be considered with caution.

My older and clunkier device was giving me a consistent value within 5 points each time.

Sometimes when you have perfectly good strips, and they haven't been open for a very long time, the machine decides that the strips are expired.

It doesn't connect easily to the Samsung Note 3, loses connection and stays off, even fully charged waste of time and money , another Ihealth junk.

Worked good for 6 months. Then quit working. Won't scan strips, and won't let you do anything at all after that.
