Pros & Cons
Berkley Stainless Steel Hook Remover is a tool that you can use to easily remove the hook that have been buried too deep into the fish mouth. This tool will make it possible for you to remove the hook easily and still preserve the life of the fish so you can either bring it home fresh or return it back to the waters.
Easy to use and lightweight, this functional tool works great on bass and trout fish as well as medium to large sized fish of all kinds. This tool does not rust easily from saltwater and it's just the right size for your average tackle box. This tool allow you to see and grasp the hook easily and fast making it an even better choice than nose pliers, where you'll have to look around and manhandle the fish before getting the hook out.
The only problem with this is that many customers have found that it does not work too well on small fish and very large fish, and it might be a little bulky to carry around with you on your quick fishing trips where you don't really plan on bringing a lot of things.
Overall, the Berkley Stainless Steel Hook Remover is a well designed functional tool that is sure to be of help to the fishermen who finds it hard to preserve the life of the fish whose mouth was caught too deep on their hooks. Though it might have some limitations on this tool, it is still a handy well made hook remover, surely better than nose pliers.
