  from 44 reviews

Nook Color from Barnes and Noble is a very versatile e-reader as per most of the user reviewers. They like the fact that:

1. The Nook Color functions well as a "reader's tablet" with enough extras (Web browser, games) to be broadly useful, but still geared towards the primary purpose of reading.

2. It comes with an external SD slot.

3. With little to no experience in tinkering with computers you can turn this E-book reader into a (rather) mighty android wielding tablet and apart from reading books, you can pretty much do anything else :)

4. If you're reading a magazine, and want to read the last book you were reading just tap the book icon and your book is opened to the point where you left off.

In the nutshell, B&N Nook Color is a very versatile device with good internal memory, processing power, external memory slot and it can be rooted to be used as fully functional Android tablet. Nothing beats that at the price of Nook Color.
