Paderno World Cuisine Tri-Blade Plastic Spiral Vegetable Slicer is constructed of very high-quality, impact resistant, BPA free, ABS plastic and super sharp stainless steel blades. This vegetable slicer creates spiral cuts and vegetable/fruit noodles in seconds. The slicer is easy to use, and requires no outlet connection or batteries as it is hand operated. It comes with three incredibly sharp blades - a shredder blade with small holes, a chipper blade with large holes and a straight blade. The shredder blade measure 3 mm in thickness and creates long, spaghetti like spiral stands; the chipper blade measure 5 mm in thickness, creates long, thick spiral strands and the straight blade measures 3 mm in thickness and creates long, ribbon like strands. An integrated storage compartment beneath the frames stores/holds the extra blades (can store 2 blades).

It also features powerful suction feet for stability with easy release tabs, and works best when used on non-porous and dry surfaces. The spiral slicer is easily disassembled for cleaning and is dishwasher safe. Do not touch the blades directly what-so-ever, as they are very sharp and can cut fingers upon contact. It is advisable to remove the stored blades while the slicer is in use to avoid food remnants and juices from making them dirty. Also a chop stick or some other long narrow tool can be used to remove the remaining food matter that stays stuck in the core of the cutting blade. 

However, this spiral slices does not work well on small foods. It does not turn the entire food into ribbons/spiral and leaves the ending part in the core itself resulting to wastage. It is also observed that carrots, yams and sweet potatoes stain the plastic parts of the machine.
