Review Summary

This is the summary of consumer reviews for Toy Violin -- Electronic Toy Violin for Kids. The BoolPool rating for this product is Good, with 3.30 stars, and the price range is $24.36-$32.95.

The Electronic Toy Violin for Kids is a unique string instrument that looks just like the real thing. Made of high quality plastic this violin lets them play 25 different pre-loaded songs by just pressing a start button or by drawing the bow against the touch sensitive strings. It comes with a bow so that toddlers and children can play to popular melodies. Thanks to a microprocessor chip in the toy, this toy violin mimics the sound quality of a real, wooden violin. Recommended for young children aged 3 and above, this toy violin takes 2 AA batteries which come included.

The battery compartment being loose is the major concern to most reviewers. This often puts the batteries out of position and requires frequent adjustments to carry on playing. Sometimes the music does not play upon the bow touching the strings. Some reviewers wish that it had option to play own music than just playing preloaded melodies. Also, it can be annoying that the music keeps on playing being electronically dependent with no option to switch off manually. Also, this violin gives a feeling of cheap plastic make than giving a realistic look.

Overall, the Electronic Toy Violin for Kids has mixed reviews for the price; quality and performance it offers. This well-decorated violin is mere a showcase toy and cannot be highly recommended for serious learners. This is a good toy violin for kids, though.
