Remo Kids Percussion, Floor Tom, 10” Diameter with mallet - makes it just right for classroom drum circles for individual drummers and imaginative team players. The Floor Tom is themed with vibrant and colorful Rain Forest animals and can be played with hands, mallets or drumsticks. Compared to other drums the Remo Floor Tom is compact in size and produces better sound quality than other children’s drums.  The drum is made using Acousticon shell material, for excellent projection capabilities and enhanced low-pitched fundamentals. The head uses the same material as Remo's FIBERSKYN 3 drumheads, for warm, full tones, with plenty of resonance and sustain. Added benefits are strength making it very durable, pleasant tones, weather-resistance and reduced weight.

Few reviewers felt that it produces thin plastic sound but without annoying others.
