The HTC One X runs the Android 4.0 operating system known as the Ice Cream Sandwich, which with its redesigned user interface enables it to handle multitasking very well providing a great entertainment experience. The design of the One X is sleek and clean with a 4.7 inch 720p (1,280x720 pixels) with the super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen that superbly renders colors. This powerful and fast device is stylish, smooth and makes the text look sharp on the high-resolution screen. HTC One X comes with Audio Beats providing an enhanced and rich audio experience.
Other features include an 8-megapixel camera with Full HD video capture, internal memory, Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity for hands-free devices and stereo music streaming, wireless streaming capabilities, GPS for navigation and location based services and more. The battery life is great on the latest update however not having battery access limits ability to supplement power source with spare batteries while traveling.
Some users complain about the lack of SD card slot and poor battery life. Sometimes, the phone has connectivity issues where SIM card looses connectivity with the device.
Overall, HTC One X is one of the highest quality Android devices on the market. It is lighter and thinner with a display that is much more accurate with bright colors. The resolution on the One X is superb. The new UI is very fast, and provides a uniform experience. A superb camera, fast performance, an excellent display as well as a sleek design, makes the One X a coveted smartphone.
