Can one change from detergent and water to fresh water by changing the blue detergent plug to the white plug?

Carburetor is a POS . My machine is three years old and on its third carburetor now. The floats like to stick even if you run the carburetor dry during winter storage. Changing it yourself will cost you around 40 bucks but triple that if someone does it for you.. Buyer beware on this one ..
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MACHINE - after less than 10 hours of usage the PSI pump stopped working rendering the unit as powerful as a garden hose. Homelite tells you to drop dead after 2 years no matter how little you used the product. Shop elsewhere.
Two years is two years. Warranties for everything have time limits.

Like (2 People Like this) Can one get a silencer for the 2700/psi?
The overhead valve engine has a timing belt. Mine came off and ruined the valves. I took it to a shop and the guy told me I'd just as well buy a new one then fix this one. He also told me these engines are famous for the timing belt coming off. I called my son who gave me this as a gift to tell him about it. He has one just like it and he said the exact same thing happened to his. No more of these for me. Steve Plutt, Lake George, Colorado

The max pressure on this machine is 2700PSI. This is not a commercial washer.

anonymous on Feb. 1, 2022 I have a homelite 2700-2.3 GPM Honda presure washer. When i try to crank it i pull the cord and it jurks the cord back in the rewind real hard.. just like it has to much record. do you have any ideal what the probelm maybe. thank you for any help in advance!
