Pros & Cons
Uncontrollable and continuous laughter would be the only music associated with the Hedbanz board game that has no correlation with rock music whatsoever. With 74 cards and 6 headbands, kids and adults use their heads (in more ways than one!) while playing this goofy guessing game.
The catch is everyone knows your identity but you! The goal is to deduce who or what you are by asking questions before the clock runs out. But many set aside the clock for an unlimited time of fun. This simple gameplay gives rise to a whole lot of humor and creative, critical thinking. This fast paced game can loosen even a reticent tongue, encouraging better communication skills.
Armed with good quality, the board game gets repetitive after a while, once you master the pile of 74 cards. But it is so easily replicated, you can add to the card collection with magazine or newspaper cut outs or even kids drawings!
Though aimed at first graders and above, this game can be fun for preschoolers too, helping them sharpen their deducting skills. But adults might need to steer their guessing to help narrow down categories. So patience might be a very good virtue for this game!
Overall, the Hedbanz board game is well worth the investment, creating a lot of fun times for adults and youngsters alike. What are your waiting for?...Go get your headband on!
