The FoodSaver T03-0023-01 Wide-Mouth Jar Sealer fits easily over Ball and Kerr Mason jars and works fantastically with FoodSaver vacuum sealer system to keep perishable food fresh for longer period. This system offers excellent protection against food spoilage and freezer burns. The lid (excluding the inner ring) seals to form an air tight seal while the tube removes the air from jar which promotes this feature of keeping food fresh for long. It works great for liquids, fragile/perishable foods, spices, dry goods, dried food items, sauces, jams, cheese, chocolates, meat, salads etc,.

However, this system may require a new lid every time the jar has to be re-sealed. Some feel it is good for single sealed items that end up on the shelf/pantry or in freezer for storage but not for daily use, as every time the jar is opened it has to be re-sealed which requires patience and time.
