Pros & Cons
GE 3.9 cu ft Top-Load Washer is an Energy Star washer with a stainless steel drum that can handle family-size loads and easily wash king size comforters. This washer has 16 wash cycles and a unique PreciseFill system with 5 water level selections to automatically measure the load size and add just the right amount of water. This helps in saving water, energy and detergent. It comes with a traditional agitator and cleans clothes really well. Users like its efficient and extended spin cycle for rinsing as it cuts down on drying time. The wash cycles are quiet in this washer. It comes with bleacher and fabric softener dispensers where solutions are automatically mixed with wash water to give clean, bright, soft-to-the-touch clothes and linens.
Some users complain about laundry getting stuck under agitator and thus damaging the fins and other parts. The spin cycle is very noisy and there are no indicators on the machine to show the time left in whole washing cycle. Other major complaint users have is lack of different temperature for wash and rinse cycle.
Overall, GE 3.9 cu ft Top-Load Washer with model # GTWN4250DWS, is a low end washer and gets moderate rating from the users. It is good quality washer for the price.
