This device tracks daily steps, stairs climbed, distance, calories burned, and activity level. It wirelessly updates all the data to the web where it can be displayed in different forms. It also has a built in display that gives information on your steps, distance, and calories etc. It can take manual inputs of the things like calorie input or exercises where it can not be carried like swimming. This device also tracks sleep patterns based on movement of wrist while sleeping.
Many consumers complain that not all readings made by this device are accurate. It also works for sometime and then stops functioning. Users also do not like the belt clip design. They say that clip is too small and device slips out of it. The method to record sleep patterns may be annoying for some people.
Overall, Fitbit wireless activity and sleep tracker is an interesting concept but needs some improvement.
